MG has released official images of its new pure electric SUV- MG ES5. As the brand’s latest pure electric SUV built to the world's highest standards, MG ES5 targets young consumers who pursue high quality of life and freedom, meeting their dual needs in family travel and personal enjoyment.

The exterior of MG ES5 adopts an emotional design, inheriting the family style front face and incorporating numerous youthful and energetic elements. The front is equipped with a split-type lighting set, together with a split-type air intake grille below the headlights, which is highly recognizable. The shoulder line of the car extends smoothly from the headlights to the rear, paired with conventional door handles. The car has black exterior rearview mirror shells and silver roof racks, enhance practical and stylish. The through type rear lamp and the unique graphic design complement the front lamp from afar. The MG ES5 measures 4476mm in length, 1849mm in witch, 1621mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2730mm. The maximum usable area inside the car is up to 4.24 square meters.

The MG ES5 has many outstanding performances. The new car adopts the world's leading SAIC Motor MSP (Modular Scalable Platform) pure electric architecture, which not only performs well in safety and reliability, but also has a powerful pure electric rear wheel drive design in terms of driving performance. At the same time, MG ES5 is also the only model in the same price segment that adopts rear wheel drive and five link independent rear suspension, with a smaller turning radius, providing a flexible and comfortable driving experience; The exclusive lying battery pack has the world's thinnest thickness of only 110mm, bringing ultra-low center of mass height and ample headroom.

In terms of power, the MG ES5 adopts a single rear electric motor, with a maximum power of 250N · m and a 0-100 km/h acceleration of 8S. Three battery pack options are available, with CLTC pure electric range reaching 425km, 515km, and 525km respectively.
